Mrs. Omonike Aremu
Co-FounderA compassionate advocate and co-founder, Omonike brings both professional expertise and a deeply personal purpose to the foundation’s mission. She currently works as a Regional Dementia Specialist for the largest provider of care homes in England, a career rooted in person-centred care, community support, and service development.
Her previous roles include working with the Alzheimer’s Society UK, where she provided post-diagnostic support to individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease. She has also led her own home care service, delivering tailored support that enables individuals to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes.
Across her work, Omonike is known for building trusted relationships, creating safe and inclusive spaces, and ensuring that individuals and their carers feel informed, supported, and empowered.
Driven by the memory of her sister, Omonike is committed to creating meaningful change through education, advocacy, and support. She plays a key role in shaping the foundation’s vision and driving its impact, combining professional insight with a heartfelt commitment to advocacy.
A devoted mother and wife, Omonike is an avid reader and an accomplished writer who enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.
Mrs. Ronke Akinbode
Co-FounderWith over 25 years of experience working in educational settings, Ronke has dedicated much of her career to supporting and caring for children and families. She currently works in the UK housing sector, where she has served as both a Customer Advisor and now an Allocations Officer, developing extensive experience in community engagement and support services.
Ronke is outgoing and passionate about spending quality time with her loved ones, listening to music, and enjoying outdoor activities. She is also an active volunteer within her church administration, reflecting her strong commitment to service and community development.

Aminah ‘Ginger’ Gbajabiamila
Aminah ‘Ginger’ Gbajabiamila is a passionate Possibilities Purveyor; who believes in transforming lives with mindset shifts - via impactful experiential interactions, envisioning, affirmations, and wholesome self love. A practicing Coach, Speaker, Trainer, and Mentor at Ginger Soul Lifestyle Co; she is committed to SDGs 3 (Good Health & Wellbeing), 4 (Quality Education), 5 (Gender Equality), and 17 (Partnerships for the goals).
Aminah believes her work and play spaces value ‘People, Words, and Hospitality’. She is an avid Brand Builder with 2 decades+ lifespan in global Corporate Brand Management and Marketing Communications; a consummate foodie, restauranteur, and vibrant lifestyle connoisseur.Aminah is most proud of being a nurturing Mother to her Terrific Trio.

Dr. Omotayo Bolu
Dr. Omotayo Bolu is a public health physician with over 35 years of global health experience, leading programs and research in the United States, Africa (including Nigeria and Cameroon), and Asia. Her expertise centers on maternal and child health, vaccine-preventable diseases, and HIV treatment and prevention. She is committed to improving access to health services for vulnerable populations at a public level and identifying innovative solutions to stop outbreaks of diseases at its source. Dr. Bolu is married with two adult children and enjoys public speaking, reading, and travelling.

Dr. Dapo Odetoyinbo, MD
Dapo Odetoyinbo received his Medical Degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria. He held several Private Health Sector positions in Nigeria and served with the Ministry of Health in Lesotho, Southern Africa in the late 1990s when he moved to the United States.
He is a board certified Internal Medicine physician and has practiced Medicine in both clinical and administrative settings in the United States for over 20 years.
Dapo has both a personal and professional passion for individuals and families touched by Sickle Cell Anemia. He is actively involved with his church and volunteers with several not-for-profit community organizations in the North Atlanta area.
Dr. Ajike Oladoyin
Dr. Ajike Oladoyin trained as a family physician and public health physician, and is passionate about health promotion and population health. She sits on the board of the Society for Quality in Healthcare in Nigeria (SQHN) and has an interest in the effects of climate change on health. She’s currently pivoting from impacting people’s health through direct patient care and management of health services, to reducing the impact of plastic pollution on population health in the Nigerian environment, while still maintaining a focus on improving the quality of healthcare delivery in Nigeria. As a Christian she believes in helping everyone she meets to achieve their best physical, mental, spiritual and emotional health, whether it is at home, in church or in her social circle. Dr. Oladoyin is married with three adult children, and she enjoys reading a wide variety of books, running, solving puzzles, and travelling to know more about people around the world.

Tomisin Odetoyinbo is a cybersecurity expert and Technical Program Manager at a Fortune 100 company, where she specializes in managing security vulnerabilities and driving strategic initiatives. With a Masters in Information Systems & Cybersecurity, she brings a strong technical and leadership foundation to her work.
As a board member of the Femi Pinto Sickle Cell Foundation, Tomisin is dedicated to advocacy, raising awareness, and ensuring that vital information reaches the community. She leads the foundation’s newsletter and social media efforts, crafting engaging content that educates, inspires, and connects individuals affected by sickle cell disease. With her passion for clear communication and meaningful impact, she’s committed to amplifying the foundation’s mission and strengthening its outreach.

Pero has lived in the United States for over three decades, with a distinguished career in Corporate Tax Accounting. Pero consistently delivers excellence in her field.
She has been married to her husband, Ibukun, for 33 years and is the proud mother of three amazing accomplished adult children. A committed Christian, and has actively served in numerous leadership and support roles at her church, where she and her family have been dedicated members for 30+ years.
Her work demonstrates a strong sense of purpose, empathy, and operational leadership. Pero is eager to support the foundation’s mission through strategic insight and community-focused leadership. Outside of her professional and service commitments, Pero enjoys traveling and looks forward to exploring the world more extensively in retirement.
